Scott M. Goldstein, MD is a practicing OculoFacial Plastic Surgeon and proven leader with almost 3 decades of roles in health care locally, regionally and nationally.   He has been in private practice for over 20 years and has also been an adjunct faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and Wills Eye Hospital over the years. 

 

After graduating with honors from Boston University Medical School he trained at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he was chosen to serve as chief resident, a fellow and received several teaching awards. 

 

As a Business major at Cornell University he excelled and learned integral skills that have helped him as a managing partner of his multi-specialty ophthalmology practice near Philadelphia since 2006, medical director of Tri-County Surgery Center since 2011, and a previous board member of Physician Integrated Network, based out of Dallas, focused on value-based health care. 

 

He has served as a leader in many medical organizations including as president of the Greater Philadelphia Ophthalmic Society, president of the Pennsylvania Ophthalmology Association, and treasurer of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons. He also completed the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Leadership Development program in 2019 and has gone on to serve on AAO committees and the AAO Council.  

 

He has lived in Philadelphia since 1995 with his family, is an avid sports fan, and loves to cook. As an adjunct associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania he continues to teach, lecture and publish in the area of ophthalmic Plastic surgery.
