BridgepointMD Acquires MI-Logix
Data Analytics Platform
BridgepointMD is pleased to announce the acquisition of the MI-Logix data analytics platform. MI-Logix is a claims data software solution that digests high volume claims data sets from a variety of sources (CMS, commercial payers, or others) to produce tailored output dependent upon client need. BridgepointMD will integrate MI-Logix into our HubpointMD business enterprise that is focused on SaaS-enabled technology solutions for healthcare. The MI-Logix platform analyzes data to produce:
1) Evaluation and development of episode of care models - Claims data is parsed into discrete episodes of care using a developing standard construct that includes both procedural and condition-based designs. Episodes can be tailored to client needs based on episode duration, inclusions, exclusions, total cost of care, etc. Data analysis provides historical costs, provider performance measures including performance relative to national or regional norms, service utilization, initial site of service, and more. When combined, such data analysis provides insights into marketable episode-based model construction, episode pricing, and identification of the best providers to fulfill client needs.
2) Market Intelligence – Claims analysis is used to demonstrate client performance in cost, key performance indicators, utilization management, etc. and provide relational information on how a clients’ key performance indicators compare to others within their selected market (local, regional, state, nationally). Clients utilize these actionable insights to demonstrate value to payers, seek an expanded referral base, and negotiate favorable contract rates.
3) Value-base care model cost/performance analysis – Data analysis is fundamental to operationalize value-based care models. Output reports reveal cost and performance metric analysis to determine performance relative to target. Data interpretation also yields insights into areas for process improvement to enhance performance efficiency, financial results, and patient satisfaction.
