Jim has a proven track record identifying and leading innovative, financially sound, diverse healthcare companies from their startup phase to maturity. 

Jim’s experience includes developing and managing physician group practices and outpatient facilities along with developing managed care companies in Medicare Advantage and Special Needs Plans. While serving as Interim Chief Operating Officer for the third-largest fertility center in the United States, Jim helped increase revenue by more than 60%, initiated a 250%+ market growth strategy, and led expansions into China, Mexico, and Europe. As the Senior Vice President of Marketing for a Medicare Advantage plan, Jim successfully implemented operations in three states and grew membership by 300% while maintaining a 99% retention rate.

Over the past six years, Jim has focused on programs and opportunities within health reform, including the Affordable Care Act and programs initiated by the Centers of Medicare/Medicaid Innovation Center (CMMI). In addition, Jim has served as a Chairperson for several CMMI grant reviews.

Most recently Jim was Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Fusion5, the 2nd largest convener in the country. Jim built this organization to deliver exceptional results in value-based care. Their initial focus was on delivering a successful program in CMS’s Bundled Payments for Care Initiative Advanced to 110 clients including small and large orthopedic, cardiology, neurology, bariatric, and general surgeon physician practices, along with independent hospitals and large hospital networks.

Currently Jim is the Chief Executive Officer of a newly launched company, within the Redesign Health family of companies, focused on empowering PCPs to better coordinate care for their patients with neurodegenerative diseases like dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc. 

Jim looks forward to supporting the highly experienced executive team who are rapidly growing BridgepointMD, supporting specialist physicians on their value-based care journey.

Jim received his MBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and currently resides in St. Charles, MO with his wife Patti and their two dogs, Remay and Bodie.
